Term 4 – Active After School Program (BASKETBALL)

Location – Weipa Storm Surge Shelter 
Dates – Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons from 8th of October to 28th of November (8weeks)
Cost -  $80 full term p/child 

Sessions times: 

Tuesdays:
Year 4: 3:15pm - 4:15pm
Years 5 + 6: 4:15pm - 5:15pm
Years 7+: 5:15pm - 6:15pm

Thursdays:
Kindy & prep: 3:15pm - 4:00pm
Years 1 & 2: 4:00pm - 4:45pm
Year 3: 4:45pm - 5:30pm

Event Description:
Our junior basketball programs provide a structured and supportive platform for children to learn and grow in the sport of basketball. We offer age-appropriate training which is tailored to the age and skill level of the participants. Younger children will focus on basic skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive techniques.
As players progress, they learn more advanced skills and tactics, while older participants may engage in more specialized training. Most importantly we aim to create a fun and inclusive environment which is essential to keep kids engaged and motivated.
